MY question is will the google tv box do dolby digital 5.1 sound or will it only work with the sat receiver? This is a big "have to have" feature for me.
It will do Dolby Digital 5.1 sound. It even has a separate SPDIF slot for hooking into your AV receiver
What are the limitations on websites you can visit. Can you visit sites that may require a plugin to be installed? For example, a site like channelsurfing.net?
This single input layered implementation is what I've been most interested in all along. If I don't see anything to watch on E*, either live or on my DVR/EHD...I want to be able to surf Netflix w/o having to switch inputs...really excited about this aspect. And also do a google search...maybe a weather radar map, etc w/o having to stop watching E*.
