Will Encore's James Bond Be OAR? I Doubt IT!

Does anyone know what Encore intends to do about the Bond pictures playing this month? Having just switched off their full-frame HD broadcast of "For A Few Dollars More", I have misgivings to say the least. Someone should remind them that this isn't TNT or one of the "old" networks. We PAY for Encore service, and if they're going to do as poor a job as this, maybe it's time to call and cancel the PREMIUM service. The idea of showing these films in anything other than OAR is unacceptable to paying customers.

I agree with you. But remember that there are many, many people out there that despise the "black bars". No amount of explanation charts, diagrams or examples will get them to change their minds. They pay too.
