Will this work for a hopper with sling?

I'm getting a hopper with sling and I have this remote with an actual record button on it. It works for my wally.

I don't think so but a Dish 40 remote will and it also has a record button on it.

Technically it will work with the ir function turned on. But will be limited on functions.
