Wiring Question before installing dish for 61.5

I was thinking of calling to get my 2nd dish aimed at 61.5 since it appears that I am missing some DC locals that are aired at this location, but before I do I want to be sure that I completely understand the installation process that can or should be used. I currently have a Dish 500 and have only 2 RG6 cables coming into my house from the Dish. I also currently have only 2 active receivers in my house (811 and 301). Will I be able to use the new dish with only having these 2 exisiting runs inside the house? It's a brand new home with a full funished basement so running more cable would be a nightmare. Inside the house the two cables from the dish run to a central location in my garage. All of the other runs of single RG6 from each room in the house run back to this central location in the garage. Currently, I have just used two female-to-female barrels to pass the signal through to the two active receivers.

Second question: with the wiring described above will I be able to add a third active receiver in the house (still having only 2 cables coming from the dish outside)? I know that there are lots of diplexers, and splitters and switches and stuff, but I know very little of how they operate. Thanks in advance!

With the addition of a DP34 switch (this is assuming you have DP LNB) you could run upto 4 receivers. You would have to run a third line into the central location from your 2nd dish.

If getting that third line to the central location is not possible, then you can still get what you want done. You would have to go with a Dish Pro Plus Twin on the dish 500 for 119 & 110. Then the 2nd dish would go into the input on the DPP twin. This will give you two lines into the house with 119, 110 & 61.5.

Now with the DPP twin you can run upto 4 tuners on those 2 lines. You would have to switch to dual tuner receivers though. So if you replaced you 301 with a 322 you can have 3 tv's with seperate programing.
