It appears the XG1V1 DVR's are getting a nice update!
When updated to firmware version RKD 2.2, X1 DVR customers with a Pace XG1v1 set-top box will be able to record more shows simultaneously -- up to five. The new firmware is rolling out now.
With this update, the affected XG1s will no longer have a dedicated tuner for live TV. Customers using an updated Pace XG1v1 box can watch live TV and record four shows at once or record up to fix shows simultaneously.
