we are being adults here. You're the one who is dodging the simple question of showing the evidence that backs up your statement that you have said. Scobuck asked for it.
For 4 pages here you asked us for evidence and we showed it now we're asking for your evidence to back up your statement and you dodge the question and act like a child
I asked him if he recalls the events that have taken place...
These aren't interpretations or assumptions...these were actual events Sco and i have previously discussed...very different...

I am not saying Vampz is wrong or right, but I am curious myself to see what the cost difference between EI a couple of years back compared to now. Would there be anyway to find out what MLB charged the providers for EI???
All we know for sure based on what is documented in this forum and other news sources, is that Directv's bid to keep it exclusive drove the price up...

Your right there! But dish didn't want to carry MLB EI becauseof very high costs too. So I would say it is more of MLB's fault on this.
Yes MLB did tie the two together, but if the carrier has the MLB EI package they don't have to have MLB channel in that package. Very Odd!
I made it very clear, I was only basing my point on what was stated as Charlies reasoning, and what was the current news of the day back then...all of which is readily available for viewing in the satguys archives...all of which is very clear. Not much open to interpretation in an article such as this...

Hey...no personal attack necessary...
All I was asking was some form of proof that there was an ultimatim...news release or otherwise...not some 'interpretation of a news release' which is all I was given.....
As for me, this forum is FILLED with news releases based on what Sco is asking...I don't even know where to begin providing the proof other than to tell him where to look...(but he should know...)
I don't have time to read the entire thread, so I only read the first post which contained the article in question. I did not see where Charlie said that the price was driven up. Unless you can point to a particular post in the 6 page thread.
Of course Direct would drive up the price to get exclusive rights, but since they were not able to do so, Direct would then not pay the same higher price they would have if it was exclusive to them.
