Has anyone mentioned that last week a Chinese company leaked that it has a contract to make 7" ipads for next year?
We hear leaks like that all the time. Some of them come true, more or less.
But yeah, it's pretty much out of the bag that a mini-iPad is on it's way. The speculation has moved on to specs.

That's not quite the case. All iOS browsers (including Safari) are required to use the WebView API to insure compatibility between apps. That's not really the same thing as skinning Safari.

I think the main issue is that even though it's the Chrome browser, it doesn't FEEL like the Chrome browser because of the stupid restrictions Apple imposes on apps, because GOD FORBID we encourage innovation through competition *cough SAMSUNG cough*. Chrome on Android feels like Chrome because it's faster than the Stock browser and has more features than the standard one. I downloaded Chrome on the iPad and I find myself still using Safari more because without the stuff that makes Chrome feel like Chrome, what's the appeal? I honestly don't care about syncing my history/bookmarks, so that isn't a selling point for me.
I initially misread what you were saying - thought you were saying it is faster then Safari ( but realized you were talking about Chrome on Android). The report I read this morning in The Daily (not a great source) argued that Chrome is slower than stock Safari. I have not done any controlled tests, and don't intend to keep it on the iPad. It is just not needed, since I have moved away from the google ecosystem for my primary data syncing.
I finally bought into the iPad crazyness, said I would never buy one, then played with one at a friends house, had the iPad 1, got hooked, now proud owner of a 16gb black iPad 2. Been a little under a week, and love it. Bought some good apps/games. Mass Effect Infiltrator, Madden 12. But I can't figure how to sync my keyboard I bought offline. I put batteries in it, but when I click on and Connect nothing lights up. Not sure if it's defective or what. Little confused and frustrated.
Did you turn bluetooth on the iPad in settings? And while I don't know what the keyboard is, it usually has a way to turn on bluetooth to pair. If it is a wireless Apple keyboard, you push and hold in the button on the side until the light flashes.
Yeah it's turned on. It's like a generic keyboard, all reviews from the seller has positive reviews so I assume it may be defective.
If you can find someone with a bluetooth keyboard maybe you can check to see if you can pair with it -- to make sure the problem is not on the iPad-end; but I doubt it.

Is there no way to lock some of the accessibility features like app switching w/ gestures? I play with the iPad with my 1 year old son and he's better at the 3-4 finger swipe to 'alt-tab' to another app than I am.
Settings - General - Multitasking Gestures is where it is. My two year old had the same issue
I doubt it.. I wish there was a way to disable the home button because my 2 year old LOVES pushing that while using her favorite app and then I need to grab the iPad away from her and get her back before she starts screwing around with stuff..
Dumb question. I just got a basic dock for my iPad. No speakers, just a charger and an audio out port. The issue is that when I put it in the dock there's no audio. I'm assuming that is standard with docks but I need audio. Is there a setting or something I can toggle so that audio will still come from the iPad?
With your iPad docked, try double tapping the home button, then swipe the app bar at the bottom to the right. There should be a button to the left of the volume slider that looks like a box with an arrow in it pointing up from the bottom of it. If it's there, tap it and see if it gives you the Dock connection option to enable or disable the connection.
