Is it possible to view any program on a Direct TV DVR for the past week?

Why would anyone sign up for satellite tv service at Sam's, AT&T, Menards, or any of those kind of stores? There are LOCAL dealers in most areas of the country. Local dealers offer the same promotions and most provide professional installation and service. You get what you get at the big box stores including BS.

The sales people representing DirecTv and Dish at most of the big box stores ARE the local dealers, at least round here. They don't work for DirecTV/Dish OR for sams/Costco.....

I don't know about the Genie, but I can't do it on my receiver (HR34).

They've been thinking about it, and saw the display and something clicked.

That's how SWMBO & I signed up for Dish, LO! these many years ago! We were in a home show, and saw the dealer's display, and.... $9.99/month special.

Fwiw, the HR34 IS a Genie, 1st generation.

I'm going to have to look at the model number again, because my receiver is definitely not a Genie. I've had this receiver long before the Genie's came out.
