480p widescreen is part of the ATSC standard it's known as EDTV, hardly anybody uses it, but it would look much better than stretch-o-vision, pillarbox or letterboxed channels.
I was told not right now. Which to me says don't be surprised to see it later in the year.

Rey, watch this all the way through... but replace the work SONG with THREAD. (And make sure you watch it all the way through!)
This will take care of itself in the next day or so, whenever your receiver reboots or gets a guide update.I'm seeing the channels, but the guide data beyond the next hour shows No Information.
So, how are those new channels doing for you guys?
Nice to see ESPNU in HD!
I remember this as being one of the few SD channels on Dish where the PQ looked really bad. So, I am sure the HD feed is amazing to have now.
It is interesting that now a guide update does not require a reboot. It just does it in the background while you watch or transfer. This will take care of itself in the next day or so, whenever your receiver reboots or gets a guide update.
