The Walking Dead on AMC

One other thing I need to say. I really dislike Gabriel. He needs to be killed off. Thinks he's so righteous when he's just a sinful man that can't take care of himself or others.

I really dislike him too, I think that is the point. Every group needs a Judas to sell them out when the time is right. As we have seen, everything done so far has been justified in one way or another, yet can be twisted into looking like an evil act. How will the death of the son look?

You know,it's like the writers are trying to turn Rick into "the Governor" of Alexandria. It's like they are trying to put more drama into the Alexandria storyline than is really necessary.

The aftermath of what happened at the warehouse put everyone on edge inside Alexandria, most especially Rick, who made a big move. Here's our blow by blow recap of "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 15, "Try":Rick's Group & The Alexandrians, inside Alexandria: After a few moments of sitting in silence by candlelight with what's left of her family, Deanna puts on a CD – Nine Inch Nails. It must have been Aiden's (her son who died during the warehouse mission in last week's episode).

Yeah, I thought Rick's reaction was a bit over the top. Not how you want to "win the girl." He should know better by now how to work his way around the politics of the situation. In spite of a few deaths caused by the stupid actions of Alexandria residents, there's no real urgency at this point to initiate a "coup." Glen, Abraham, and the rest of the gang simply need to refuse to go on runs with any of their people -- take it or leave it. If Deana doesn't go for it, then plan a take over after gradually winning over the majority of the other residents.

Rick was almost acting like he was possessed . His eyes were crazy looking and he was trying to kill the drunk with his bare hands. But the drunk was no slouch in the fighting department either. He did some damage to Rick too. Didn't really understand why Michone knocked Rick in the head so hard.

I thought the episode was decent. A clear setup episode for the finale. Things are only going to get crazier, you haven't seen anything yet.

She knocked him out, because as mentioned above, Rick was acting like the Governor.

All the locals around here are talking about how
Norman Reedus is selling his house.
Hopefully that's not an omen for the finale.

To be honest, I thought the final episode sucked. So many different side things going on just to lead up to next season. It would have been fine for a mid season episode but I wanted more. The final minute was by far the best part.

Once again the show is following along with the comic just enough. Only a few tweaks to make it different.

Didn't quite understand the whole W thing on the Zombie heads and the Rave Zombies at the food warehouse. I know it had something to do with the Terminus survivors but didn't really understand the whole thing.

This is where the show is heading. That trap of zombies was set up by a group, a very nasty group. This is the next threat. The upcoming season will be interesting.

Is it a "group" or just the two whack-jobs? I agree, a very weak finale.

Based on the comics, you're going to hate the direction the show will be in for the foreseeable future.
I imagine that it doesn't pick up until the group expands to/communicates with the other existing communities,& then runs into Negan. The showrunners most likely will dramatically(?) cut down the time difference(wait time) from Rick & the group ending up in Alexandria to then meeting up with the other communities. I'm sure they want to introduce Negan,at least by the second half of next season.
