I changed tv's on my VIP722 and I now need to program the remote control to my new tv. How do I do this?

Well after I try my 3rd 722k (that is on its way) and it locks up like I know it will, I will be leaving Dish for either Direct or back to comcast (yuck)!!!

Well, they talked me into one more receiver. When this new one shows up and locks up they have agreed to release me from my contract, which I will be taking them up on. This is absolutely rediculous that this cannot be solved!

Well my lockups don't happen at 5:15 but they do happen when I turn off TV1, go upstairs and turn on TV2. Sometime after that the damn thing freezes, goes to snow screen and reboots (irritating as he double toothpicks). This is after the rep said it was my 722k receiver and I argued with him...

Internet connection speed or is this a setting on the receiver?

Well my daughter ordered a movie yesterday and the dang thing kept buffering every couple of minutes or so which made it impossible to watch. Will be calling in for a credit on that one.

I have this problem as stated in other threads with my 722k but this started for me about 2 weeks ago when the updates for the DVR where sent down. I do not run OTA through my receiver and had zero problems with this before the update. I'm sticking by my theory that it is something with the...

It has something to do with the new updates they sent down recently. Ever since my 722 receiver was updated with the new DVR menu look, mine has done exactly what yours is doing. There is some bug in the update apparently.

The 722 is what they brought out when my system was installed last Feb.

Well my download must not be complete yet (must be a HUGE update to last more than a week :) because my damn VIP722k still has the good old lockup. Turned on TV2 last night and whamo, frozen with no remote input! Went downstairs, yep TV1 also frozen. Pulled power cord and waited.... and...

OK, I'll give it a try. Will I need a uhf remote for that room? Will the uhf remote work with tv1?

isn't this for TV2? If I split this one wouldn't both these tv's watch the same program? I am trying to split TV1 so when my main tv is not on, I can watch something on the tv I'm going to hook up and also let my daughter watch what she wants in her room which is currently connected via coax off...

They are not both HD. Only the current one connect via HDMI cable. the future one is a SD tv.

Can I split the signal for TV1 on my VIP722k to another tv in another room and if so, how do I do it? Currently my 722 is hooked up to my main tv via HDMI and TV2 goes to my bedroom tv. I want to hook up another bedroom tv to share TV1 output but how do I get the signal there?
