What is your signal strength like? Almost sounds like the tuner is doing resets since the show is 60 mins, and u only got 32..JMHO

I had to have a tech come and install my 722 when it was swapped for the 3rd faulty 612 (which for some reason I was able to install the 2 612's and a 622 before by myself). I am guessing it is a shot at making $$ altho I didn't pay for my install as an existing customer with a crapped out box...

OK, I finally got an answer by calling...first rep was great, and kept me on for 1/2 hr and pushed up to her supervisor....couldn't find the error code....so I looked REALLY hard at the next flash and saw 112,,,seems like it is an odd error and doesn't usually affect 612's...so I guess I am...

Check your grounding also! I had a 612 pull the same crap, and whenit was replaced, the tech checked the outlet and found it was improperly grounded (older home) so we had to make some adjustments...also, just as an FYI...I find the 612 a steaming pile of pile compared to my 622...lags on DVR...

VHF I'll bet I had the same prob here in Sioux City...our local affiliate went back to VHF after the switch. My 622 and 612 both showed the channel in a scan, but had nothing on the channel...check, and I'll bet you have a UHF antenna. I picked up a Weingard HD1080 for around $50 to replace...

OK..I have HD to my 622, and am looking to upgrade my sd receiver to hd w/ dvr ..can I get a deal with a re-up? What if any will be montly charge for a second HD rvcvr?

Locals are not my prob right now...but they would be if I switched..I am lucky enough to have great OTA reception, and E* seems to be the only service I can get that allows me to interface my OTA to DVR...if I was in a larger DMA ( Sioux City is like 130) I am still not sure I would change as...

Noticed this afternoon that I am now getting Hallmark Movie Channel on my SD receiver, yet the HD counterpart doesn't show up on my 622...is HMC a preview channel this month, or is Dish expecting me to pay more for it in HD? (like that will happen :p !) Keith

Yeah, I guess I am lucky that I can get Sioux City OTA, will I still have my guide info to program DVR tho?? I also just read that D* is adding Sioux Falls HD to their service, maybe with luck SIoux City won't be far behind...The use of OTA for locals on my DVR is one of the biggest plusses...
