Just got my February bill and it raised by about $8. El_Viejo Besides the Feb raise, they raised the protection package about 6 months through the year.
I have used the firmware for the Micro HD on my NANO HD receiver and it works just fine. My question now is when did they rename the NANO HD to MICRO HD????? They don't list a NANO hd on their list now at all. This is not an SE model!!!!
I have already done this. But, I do have another option for those whose HDMI connector has quit. You can use the component connectors, red, blue, green, just fine for 1080 HD. JMHO E_V
I have tried talking to them by phone, but can't get by their 'can you do this, can you do that' screen directive. I just need to have 2 receivers (SD) replaced and all 4 of my remotes which are original. Got aggavated and hung up. A few days later I received an email asking about my experience...
Tnx for the input, guys. In checking back, I find that I was comparing the wrong 2 receivers. I should have said has anyone tried the firmware for the Micro HD on the Nano HD? They have to many different ones I got mixed up. E_V
So, the question is: Has anyone tried the firmware for the Micro...
It is just very poor engineering practices depending who is on the board running things. Same way with color, you get what the engineer on duty likes to watch. E_V
I obtained a Prodlin 1123, 1.2m dish from an old Aldi's store for $75 with owner and his son took it down. It is fiberglass and it was tx/rx unit put together by Hughes. I now use it on 99W C/band. E_V
Ebru is displaying a banner saying: "On December 31, 2014, EBRU tv will no longer be available to Free-to-Air satellite viewers. Watch EBRU tv on DIGII.TV, ROKU, RCN basic cable and Dish Network." I am sad to see this fine channel go away from FTA. E_V
What am I missing here? I thought SES-3 was to replace AMC-1. Isn't DTV using it for their Ka stuff? Or are they wanting to park SES-3 along side AMC-1? Their SWM dish is for 99, 101, and 103. I guess the owners of SES-3 didn't get the blessing of DTV!!! Oh, well, so gos FTA, here today and...
Hey, guys, I got it Saturday. Yes, it is a Prodelin series 1123, a 1.2m with an Atraxx NPRM, which is 6.5' by 6.5' square. Now to make a bracket to mount a proper lnb on it, be it Ku or C/band. E_V
Typically, these 'eye' tubes, 6U5 or 6E5, were mounted with the gap at the bottom. So the stronger signals would complete the display at the 6 o'clock position. E_V
You can put it on a tripod, for instance, on your balcony, etc. And yes they may not stop you, but as an old saying goes, they can make you wish you hadn't!!! If you're willing to fight for your rights, go for it. E_V
The Invacom is overkill for just PBS. Get a simpler standard, (not universal) lnb for that dish and use the Invacom on the new dish. With all its options you could find more sats to watch. IMO E_V

I have changed the address slightly, change \\ to //.
Moderator, if live links are not allowed, please advise options. E_V
There is not that much difference in the size of them to make any noticiable difference in signal received. IMO, I wouldn't tear one apart just to try and use the larger dish. Use them both!!!! E_V
I have the Nano HD and it will get channels that my Openbox S9 won't. Really enjoyed the quick tour of the facility, thanks. Waiting on the update software for YouTube for the Nano. E_V
