The new pricing from 2012 kinda killed this popularity, but the boxes are out there. you are right......................I just bought two HR24'S off e-bay, they are both listed as OWNED.!!!:D

i have the genie with one client and another receiver. i would recommend that you get at least one receiver and two mini's you don't pay any more. both $6.00 just a thought.//:D

:D i must be the ODDball here.........................have had the Genie and one client for two months..........not one single problem (except to program the idle time for shut down) . I have the Client as my main in the living room and my Genie in the Bedroom. works great for me. :rolleyes:

you will see an expiration date next to the movie when it is recorded, at least i do on mine. you will have until that date to watch the movie. then i guess it is removed by D*:D

I have a similar problem with my client, i get the white screen but still have the picture in the upper left hand corner! i just go to the guide and back to programing and it goes back to normal............

well i have had my Genie for three weeks and the client, not a problem so far, all is working well!!! guess it is not all of them that get cranky........................

:D i just came back to D* also after a year absence. i have the Genie and one client. don't know what others have for a set-up but mine is NOT SLOW................with E* i had the 722K and the 211K and the set-up i have now is JUST AS FAST as the E* set-up............i like the Genie much...

I didn't want to change over because i didn't want to use a power supply in the MH. i can run my TV and my receiver from my 12 converter and not have to use my Gen.
