Will Cablevision Up the Upload to match Verizon 20/20 ?

Got word on the street from a number of Fios techs that Verizon will be doing a "Major Push" in Manhattan and the Bronx with Fios in the 1st quater of 2008. Hopefully Cablevision wil get on the ball and up the measly 5mb upload they now offer, If they could at least double it to 10mb I would be...

Will Cablevision Up the Upload to match Verizon 20/20 ?

Hello I am wondering now that Verizon Fios has a New package with 20 download and 20 Upload for $64.95 a month in the NYC tri-state area. What will cablevision do ?? I hear that cablevision could do 10mb Upload, but this would be the max that the current modems could handle. So I'm wondering...

    Upcoming HD Channels

My Guess is they will announce New HD a week after D* successfully launches their first New satellite in mid May. (with this First satellite they COULD add 50 National HD channels within a month after launch) So My Guess is June 1st for some sort of HD announcement from Cablevision :down...

    CableVision vs DirecTV picture quility

As I said in my first post its the Newer MPEG-4 thats is comparable to Cablevisions HD, the Older MPEG-2 is the one that uses HD-Lite and is worse than cablevision. Eventually Directv will convert All MPEG-2 to MPEG-4. Right now just the Local network-HD is on MPEG-4

    CableVision vs DirecTV picture quility

I would say they are about the same with the edge going to Cablevision, just a slight edge if any.

    CableVision vs DirecTV picture quility

I currently have both Directv and Cablevision. Yes Directv is still using HD-Lite on most of their HD channels, but Only on the MPEG-2. If you get your locals via MPEG-4 they currently send these at Full resolution, only problem is you wont get My9-HD, CW-HD or PBS-HD. Directv Only sends CBS...

    OOL Boost Upgrade

This is another reason why I will switch to Fios if and when it becomes available. With FIOS if they say 5MB up you will get between 4.5-5MB :up With Cablevision they also say 5MB BUT you get 2.2-2.9 MB :down
