I came home from Work yesterday and my receiver went to searching for Signal when I turned it on. It never picked it up, so I ran a switch test.
The switch test never would communicate with the LNB or Satellites.
I tried unplugging the box and letting it sit for several hours.
I ran the switch test with the cable disconnected, reconnected it and ran it again.
I did all of this several times with no success.
Everything appears to be in good shape, the dish hasn't moved, the connections seem fine.
My wife did say that the power flickered in the house yesterday morning.
Everything else on the box seems to be working ok. I can still watch all my recorded DVR events.
What should I try next? Could the DPP Separator have gone bad? Could it be as simple as that?
