Heres a great new TV channel now available on AMC4 (free) to FTA satellite system viewers.
Most of the time its old TV shows and movies, real classics. There is also the Chuck Harder Show it seems to be on twice a day, people may be familiar with Chucks radio shows, this is the TV version, a bit like the Imus TV show in the morning, Chucks shows have now become must see events for me and I try to catch the rebroadcast of the afternoon shows at around 7pm (CDT) weeknights, tonights show has some great tips on solar power, here is a link to the website........

No I don't in my new house I can't see much of the arc (I am lucky I can see the DBS sats)

My father has my 10 foot Winegard Dish behind his garage just sitting there now.

    I really do miss it.

Man I remember Chuck Harder from my SWL days. He used to be on shortwave on WWCR in the early evening hours. As I recall he used to swear by drinking cherry juice for arthritis. I quit listening to him when he started really going overboard with the conspiracy theory stuff.

Same old Chuck : ) He now swears by Apple Juice, and has the medical record to prove it, I enjoy his show and he seems to be more mature these days, but the shows have a lot of good info, and as always I try to get my news/views from as many sources as possible then I make my own mind up about things.

We have had qutie a few call for systems to listen to Chuck and the rest of the programming on AMC4. AMC 4 is located with DirecTV at 101 degrees west. AMC-4 is starting to load up fast, it now looks like this bird will become the choice of many FTA stations. RTPi is testing there right now. Check my web site for a list of some of the new radio stations on AMC-4

"listen to Chuck" Its also TV show Tom, I am sure you knew that, the network also plays great movies and shows for all the family 24/7, when Chucks show is not on (2 times a day (weekdays 2-4pm then repeated 7-9pm CST) Your right it is causing quite a buzz....tonight Chuck touched on the future of satellite and how many thousands of channels it will bring us for free just a few years down the line, every home will have a satellite link he said.

On tonights show Chuck touched on HDTV and how he owns a teleport, he said he is having talks with a few companies about a FTA network much the same as BSKYB is doing in the UK, he also mentioned Voom and had some nice things to say about them, and a few bad things to say about the FCC, great show I like Wednesday shows the best as its a call in show. Although I often dont agree with him its a great show/channel.

I see Chuck is back to work, he was gone for a few weeks because of ill health, its also great to see that the recent bad weather (FL) has not knocked out his uplink site, great channel.

I couldn't get TPN the first two times I searched.

It magically appeared after an advanced search.

Then I had to figure out which audio channel was what. There are 8 audio channels to pick from just on the TPN video feed.

Just don't forget to keep your sat receiver in a cookie tin.
Remember, it has to be metal.
