Dish Add Placing in Programming

Last night while watching the season finale of Workaholics on Comedy Central, with about 10 minutes remaining the SD version of the "Refer a friend to the Hopper from Dish and get $50 and an iPad Mini" ad came on. When I played the live TV back, it showed the exact same ad running but in HD. So they preempted their own ad for their exact same ad. Later at 1 a.m. after about 15 minutes into the movie, House of the Dead on IFC, the SD version of "Refer a friend to Hopper from Dish and get $50 and an iPad Mini" ad ran over another Dish ad announcing they're excited that Disney Junior is now part of America's Top 200 and higher programming packages. You would miss this if you did not rewind it back. This seems counterproductive to override their own ads with the same generic one and a surefire way for customers who are not as aware to miss potentially important information.
