So what did you do for TV for the last 9 months ?
Was that the neighbors tree that came down, if so, how did they feel about it ?
I suffered with cable for the months without Directv. My neighbors thought is was crazy how I got them to

Had I been in your shoes, I would have offered to split the cost.
Didn't have to pay for nothing. I offered, but they said that they had a contract working to clear up branches around the complex also.
So oh well. It took a year almost. But its done.

Not that I recommend this, but I have a similar issue with trees and my house. In extreme wind I my signal is spotty (some picture break-up). But no issues so far. The signal for 61.5 is coming from the gap between the just over the top branches on the right side of the left tree. The signal from 72° is coming "through" the big tree on the right between the two branches sticking straight up, but under the actual canopy. And 77 is just over the top the right of the tree on the extreme top-right of the picture. Crossing my fingers that I can make it another summer season without having to do some major dish relocation (50 feet to the back fence).
