Just in from Dish, here are the release notes for new software version P2.58 for the 311 receivers:
- System level changes
- Support added for future ITV applications (Sharper Image/Order History, launching this week; and TVG, hopefully launching next month, plus others)
- Fix for the problem where the locks menu isn't accessible if all channels are locked and hidden
- Fix for the loss of remote response after blackout pop-up times out
- Fix for the 2nd line of text being cut off on the one-touch VCR timer pop-up (when you press record button on future event in EPG, browse)
- Fix for the timer conflict help menu title text from running off the edge of the screen
- Fix for some system information screen reworked menu display issues
- Fix for the Diagnostic menu buttons 'Cancel" and 'Help' not displaying help text
- Fix for the bug that caused English and Spanish text to be mixed together on the Timer Create screens
