Is anyone having trouble with the Hatford locals? I keep getting no signal and a slate that DISH is aware of the problem...did they move them from 61.5 or to a new spotbeam? Im in a "moved situation"

No problem at all. I have been watching WFSB and WVIT all morning.
What receiver(s) and do you have an OTA antenna attached?

The other thing, with the new satellite in place I have seen a post where someone who moved had to just slightly readjust their dish to get the locals they were previously getting. I believe in their case just slightly tilted up. It's also possible with the new patterns you are just outside the signal.

That message is generated by your receiver. Sounds like your dish is slightly out of alignment.

Since the OTA is attached (I asked for reason) I would first check to see if you are losing the signal on one or more of those channels. It can trigger the satellite channels to think they lost the signal also. Also a little trick- make sure you don't leave a local OTA channel and go to a satellite channel. Go to a couple of satellite channels. Even though it has it's own tuner, leaving OTA as one of the two active seems to trigger problems like this. You can also just turn off using locals OTA and see if the problem goes away.

If none of that stops it, time to try re-aiming the Dish.

very possible there is a new spotbeam that covers your area but not giving you Hartford locals

good signal doesnt mean that spotbeam.
