Yep.... it is black.

The Hotel Network channels come and go through out the years. Who knows what channel may be in the clear next. There were several years where no Hotel Network channels were in the clear.

Sad to see it go, but at least I will have a free dish to reallocate.

Does someone have a source that says it's gone for good?
The picture quality on Bio looks like crap right now too. Could it be they're having some technical issues and it'll be back soon and not a "we're all dooomed" scenario?

Let's hope so...

Of course, it could return to be the ever so entertaining Weather Channel! :D
What was it..... Weren't they Fox News and the Weather Channel for many, many years?

Please lets all try to tame our urge to get in touch with the people of the history channel to see whats going on!That should be a no no with FTA.

Agreed........... ABSOLUTELY! Do Not contact this uplinker or the broadcaster. This is the perfect example of a channel that is not intended for DTH viewing, but we have the opportunity to view for free because of the uplinker's decision to keep a few open for marketing purposes.

The key thing to remember is that it is showing a black screen. It is not encrypted. My guess is the source is having problems. Contract dispute? or technical issue will remain to be scene.
