I just picked up my used c-band dish!!

Hay guys,
I picked up my c-band dish to day, it was a job, the 10 foot dish would not fit in the truck, so i had to remove it from the mount, and take the dish apart in to two 1/2's If any one knows some good books or links so i can get some basic knowledge i would be grateful. My plain is to spend the summer cleaning it up and learning what i can, then install it in the fall. when it cools off.

Post some good photos of it, including pics of the polar mount. Once we can figure out what it is, you can go from there.

Congratulations on your used dish, always fun to see how other folks have adopted and refurbished an old dish and brought it back to life. As others have said, post pics, they are worth a thousand words. Am a dish scavenger myself so it is lots of fun. Also good from an environmental perspective, you are recycling/reusing.
