Is there any kind of splitter than will send 1 satellite signal into 2 tvs without adding a second box? (aka- Like cable)

The new Directv receivers don't have an RF output, so you have to get an RF modulator and use that to send your signal around the house on channel 3 or 4 (analog). You can split that signal with common splitters.

As others suggested, RF modulators are an option if you only need an SD signal. Depending on how far apart the 2 TV's are, there are options to send an HD output as well. Monoprice has a few options, but the cheapest one would be to use the HDMI over cat 5e configuration in this link: For only $15.73 each when QTY 50+ purchased - HDMI over CAT5E / CAT6 Extender Wall Plate (Pair) - Single Port (1P) - White | HDMI Wall Plate

For under $20, you can go about 70' with this setup or a bit more if you use cat 6. Of course you would have to use component cables on the TV near your box or purchase an HDMI splitter. To get a total cost, you would have to add an additional HDMI cable and the cat 5e cable to the cost.
