From looking at the pics of the XIP 813, it doesn't look as big as the 722 or the 922. But, I don't think the hard drive capacity will be as big as the 922 though. Oh well, we could always add an EHD. (at least I hope so!)

If this is a "whole house DVR" I would think that the hard drive would be at least as big as the 922 (hopefully bigger). I would really like at least 1 TB of space for the user in addition to the space that E* wants for their VOD and stuff.

Oh, lets take a guess. $20 for the first box (you know, new tech and all), $10 per extender, tack on a "sling fee" for each extender, say around $7 or so. Sadly, I would not put that past them, all of these fees are a shame~

They have high capacity 2.5" drives up to 1TB. It's possible that it could be smaller, but I kinda doubt it. It's gotta fit into the AV rack.
