I am in Virginia now and will be back and forth. I think I have a 1000.1 or .2 dish here now. I have a 622 HD receiver. What do I need in Florida?

Thanks

I am going to buy the dish myself so do I need the 1000.4 ... or?

Thanks

Sorry ... I thought Moving to mid Florida was enough.

I am going to Port Charlotte area zip 33947

That should be the Ft. Myers/Naples market which you can pick up on both Eastern & Western arc. If you have no line of sight issues I would think Eastern arc (1000.4) would be the better choice.

Instead of buying and installing yourself, consider doing a Dishmover. E* did my Florida winter home for free with no commitment. I just have to take the receiver(s) back and forth and call to change the service address when I go back and forth.

Ft. Myers was one of the DMAs announced last November to be moving back to the western arc. That would mean a WA new install I would think, although technically you would not be considered a new install.
