No fun league?I agree with you somewhat,no sense in acting like you scored a game winning td on a first down run or catch.To take away the iky shuffle is just wrong.Let em celebrate when they score a td.
And that's why you need rules, to curb taunting. College and HS have no problems because there are no gray areas, only black & white....
Oh yea,I agree with that.Just don't go too far.A lot of fans enjoy the td celebrations.Packer fans would revolt if they canned the Lambeau Leap.
I agree. College football is awesome and they don't dance in the end zone. Maybe the NFL could replace the dancing with more crowd celebration, mascots and cheerleaders similar to college. I think everyone gets just as excited when their favorite college team scores as they do pro team.

Thanks Roger,No Fun League strikes again. I remember saying that Roger Goodell would stamp out the customized face masks. He is the most unimaginative,boring,vanilla person ever. he epitomizes the word "Technocrat."

Goodell really has a major problem with individuality & individualism. he is doing his best to erase the individual personality from the NFL. What's he going to do next,say that players' hair CANNOT extend past their helmets? Maybe he should order ALL NFL players to have short hair & be clean shaven(like the New York Yankees) & wear suits to & from the game(like the NBA). Oh & ban that Lambeau Leap.

Reading the comments section,one person compares the NFL to a bad Home Owners Association,another wonders if the NFL(re: Roger Goodell) is trying to protect Riddell,because they have an exclusive contract with the NFL to provide equipment. Bottom line is that it's hard to understand Roger Goodell's logic in all of this. Roger Goodell IS the NFL.

This is ridiculous, as long as the face mask doesn't depict something derogatory.
The College guys are looking at ones that resemble thier team logo ... they are kinda cool.
Maybe Goddel will allow something like that, but it probably has more to do with NFL contract with the helmet makers.

He is a horrible, inconsistent, lack of imagination, boring commissioner. And those his GOOD traits.
Making the game safer, more profitable, not to mention 10 years of labor peace... Yeah, horrible commish.
