My computer and modem are upstairs in the office. What is the best way to be able to run Dishonline onto my HD Television downstairs in the living room?

Do I have to buy a blue-ray video player? Anything else?

What is the best method of getting the internet feed down to the blue ray player.

Can anything that plays on my computer like YouTube be played on that TV with the same set up? In other words, set up the program upstairs, and watch it downstairs.

Thanks for any assistance or ideas.

that would depend on what type of outputs you have on your computer and what type of inputs you have on your HDTV. not to mention running a cable from upstairs to downstairs, whether it be a HDMI cable or running cat5 down and using a HDMI over cat5 connector.

i have a laptop with a HDMI output and i can run that directly to my HDTV. they are in the same room but i bought 25' cable to connect them.

Netflix and the like to replace Sat/Cab?

Work around for activating side 2 viewing.
