Tonight I encountered my first fairly serious problem with 622 dvr functionality. Maybe i've been lucky. Monday we usually record 24, Prison Break, Heroes and my wife records Super Nanny.
Tonight was a 2 hour 24. The 622 recorded 1st hour 24 fine, but then for the 2nd hour it recorded several 1 minute 24 hour segments (about 13 of them). Somehow it was trying to tune in 24 and record on OTA AS WELL AS Super Nanny. Every time we tried stopping recording on any of the events the 622 would report that the program guide could not be retrieved, followed by a black screen. We had to do a hard reset (hold down power button).
We did this about 4-5 times, usually the 622 would attempt to kick back into recording which caused us to go through the same process. Last time we managed to shut off the recordings, and now things seem OK..but we lost I think 30 min of 24.
Anyone see anything like this b4? Should I do any kind of full system reset so this doesn't happen again?
