The remote that comes with a 222/222k will work on those recs.
It's a 21.0 remote which can be set between adress 1-25 I wanna say. If you want to program it to a 322,311,512 iam pretty sure they only accept a adress code between 1-15.
Any ways if you want to syc a 21.0 remote up with a 322 tv1 for example.. I would take the remote.
Hold down sat mode till all the mode lights lite up.
Put in a random code. Example 5.
The push #.
The remote will now be set to that adress 5.
Now to syc it up with the rec you have to be in the system info.
One way is by using the old remote and go menu 6. 1. 3.
Once you are in the sys info hit the record button on the new remote.
That will syc up the remote to the box..
Another way to get into the sys info on a 322,311(since they don't have the system info button on the front panel) is to push the power buttoned on the box then QUICKLY push either the up or down arrow on the box.
One more thing. If you have a uhf 21.0 remote. It will have the blue tv2 tab .
If you wanted to use it for a tv1 you have to remove it and flip it over to the green tv1 and also flip the toggle switch to ir. (which is inside the batery compartment

the number one remote is almost always set to an ir frequency of 1. it should work perfectly with no setup. if not, its a quick fix. i often give customers a 222 remote to run their old 311 if the tv code is not in the older remote.
