So appears you'll need a BUD. I suggest a 10 ft.

Have not read anywhere where a STB will 'do' it.
I think a 6-7 ft may work. I have an 8' channelmaster and it gets ample signal level on the TP. There's a SmartCast Demo channel on the same TP running 1080x1920, unknown bitrate or frame rate.

Yes, signal on the demo channel is strong for me on a 7.5-footer.

I don't have the ability to decode the video, but I get the audio on the 4K channel and the Smartcast demo mentioned with no problem.
 
Their European 4k feeds are all Ku band. I'll look around for a cheap or free small C-band dish, if my wife doesn't kill me first.
 
No! I was thinking of putting up another dish anyway. I remember how much better satellite HD looked than OTA when I got my first HDTV in 1999. I've seen the SES demo on YouTube, but would like to see a real 4K feed.
