I am still using the phase 3 dish for my Phillips receiver, considering to upgrade to the slimline dish which is 5 LNBFs, but not upgrade the new receiver yet, the question is, can the old phillips receiver is capable to use the slimline dish ? intent to get just 101, 110 and 119 satellites first from the new dish untill future cash available for new receiver.

Yes, you can use the a slimline with the older rec'r ....
However, if you order the recr, D* will supply the slimline free and set it up for you.

Yes it will work as long as you make sure you get the 5 LNB version slimline, Not the 3 LNB slimline, otherwise you won't receive your 119 locals

Thanks for the link Hemi
For some reason I never have much luck finding what I'm looking for there.
Is the 99 and 103 also listed now ?

Seeing according to the list, the Brownsville/ Harliegen channels I get when on vacation are still on the 119, I guess I'll skip the idea of going to the 3 lnb slimline when I'm down there.

A lot are on the 103 and 99 but mostly HD only. Very few SD markets right now anyway.
Most SD locals are on the 101 and 119 more are on the 119, then the 101.

Hre is the 103, But I'm not sure how updated it is, Lynsat is slow .
DirecTV USA on Spaceway 1 & DirecTV 10 at 102.8°W - LyngSat

Now see, I didn't see any of the Brownsville channels on the 99 or 103, so I guess that I am getting the HD feed for them from the 119 still.
Oh well, as long as I can get them thats all that matter, but I'm glad I came across thias info before I swapped out the 5 LNB for the 3 lnb in the 5th wheel.

If they are SD yes. If you do have them in HD then lynsat just didn't update that yet. They are Really slow!:(

Hi... can you please clarify on this point. A D* installer told me there were two "legacy" ports available in the SWM setup. Those would accomodate my D11s. Thanks:cool:
