Hello I been trying to find my sling adapter ID and password that I have connected to my receiver 722k. I did a search as well on the site and I found couple of threads but they didn't help me find it and they are 2 years ago. Can someone help me how can I obtain the info? thanks

But I thought one of the members was able to use the slingbox.com website with their sling adapter. They were able to get the sling id and password from the dish website by viewing as source. But I'm unable to find it.

It really gets me red around the collar that Dish is still perpetuating this LIE.

Sling Adapter Rose units WERE compatible with both Dish Remote, and the SLINGPLAYER before the port to Dish Anywhere.

You can literally do a search on google and pull the following results:

What you mean to say DishRep, is that Dish no longer "supports" the slingadapter's compatibility with the slingplayer.

That is very different from saying it is incompatible altogether seeing as that is an implication of an imaginary limitation outside the grand control of Dish HQ.

It worked fine for years for MANY individuals literate enough to establish the connection.

But Gee Golly Mr.Former Dish Installer Guy, why not just use dish anywhere!?

Because it is bloatware, doesn't support Windows Media Center integration, and requires verification OUTSIDE of your network ALL THE WAY to Dish just to authenticate and allow WITHIN network streaming.

Name me ONE legitimate reason a paying Dish Network customer should be forced to connect to your servers to authenticate a connection not mandatory for the slingbox but suddenly placed on the Sling Rose?

Here's 5 reasons why not:
DA is BLOATWARE and adds browser scripting related latency and processor consumption.
DA has no standalone Windows application.
DA requires verification for every connection to attain my Nielsen viewing habits.
DA has no Windows Media Center DVR storage options to place programs on the PC harddrive.
DA has no technological advantage over existing Sling.com features.

But thanks for the misdirection, incompatibility, tiny-print EULAs, and thick headedness.

Sincerely, someone who fought tooth-and-nail through your DRA-DA transition to satisfy customers who had literally 5 RMAd Sling Adapters trying to restore the reliability they once had with Sling Player. Who now suffers the same with his own 722k.

PS: Here's a thunk, maybe Dish should leave the streaming television applications to the hardware manufacturers that make the very chips they run on.
They did it better, more reliably, and with more compatibility years before Dish picked them up. Not once ever suffering from failure measuring the greatness of the 922. (Dish Coding at it's best... Not to mention the 3+ hour activation times on the 1st gen hoppers, and the beta menu I found access to that allowed factory reset to stock which your staff literally denied existed.)

-EDIT
Irritated and tinkering I acquired the credentials to remote into the Sling Adapter from Sling Player.
Below is the "incompatible" Sling Player / Sling Adapter functionality. On SP vs. 2.0.3.508
