You're gonna get it from both ends now! (Politicallty AND musically.)
Yeah - I had a great post that I thought I entered, but apparently it disappeared into the ether. It went something like:

Last I heard AirAmerica is just trying to stay alive by selling Franken's underwear on their website. The problem with them can be summed up by paraphrasing Sir Winston Churchill: Listening to talk radio requires a brain, not a heart.

If you don't know the Sir W.C. quote, well, here: http://www.quotationreference.com/quotefinder.php?strt=1&subj=Sir+Winston+Churchill&byax=1&lr=C

Eet vas joke. Why no laugh?

Sorry Gary, I knew your response was a joke. We have a very poor LOL smiley - it looks more like an angry scream. Maybe I should have put :p which looks a little more comical. No offense taken or intended.

I am also very pleased with the Sirius channels but I doubt that many would pay extra for those channels, especially if they were free as they are now for a while then they wanted to start charging for them. That would make people mad if anything.

The Sirius channels are very nice and sound amazingly good! Personally, considering what I pay now with the Everythink Pak, I would prefer that E* not charge anything additional for the Sirius channels.

As I understand it, you won't be charged anything for the new music channels since you are an "AEP" subscriber...

Love Sirius

Love the Sirius channels, only wish I hadn't spent the $'s on the home dock - purchased it just before Dish announced the Sirius was coming to dish. Still glad the kept the old music channels as well - nice variety of choices.

I really like the 80's one and the various rock ones. I didn't think you could split rock into that many categories :)

Sadly still no progressive rock channel that highlights bands like YES, King Crimson, Genesis(early),
Spocks Beard, Transatlantic, Dream Theater, Echolyn, etc..

Excellent!

Sirius channels are welcome addition. Thank you Charlie. My son is actually excited now since he can play a wide variety of music, that he likes, through his system ( I just bought him new speakers that sound awesome). I like the fact that I have more variety to pump through my outside speakers.

More channels for nothing? That's a new concept!!!! Love the new Sirius lineup!! I too use my optical audio connection and all i can say is wow! Better quality then Musac and more of a fine tuned selection. I tuned the channels in for the first time when I got home last night and had the house a rockin! Cat scooted to the basement and never returned!!! Good job Dish!!

GaryPen,

The reason I said I do not need NFL sunday ticket is because I get all the NFL games(Home and away announcers) on sirius so why would I pay 182 more dollars for NFL Sunday ticket?
