Some questions about the streaming content

A few weeks ago a tech who came out to realign our Dish added a wifi adapter to our 722K, and now we have streaming content, but honestly I can't find much content on there that's available at no cost. Do any of the OTA networks (NBC, ABC, etc) offer any of the Primetime content here? Also I assume we have to be subscribed to a channel to watch it's content, so though we're on the Welcome Package which doesn't have BBC American does this mean we can't watch Dr Who streamed? Also the tech said there were lots of movies available at no cost, but I've yet to find any. When I press * to view the free content nothing comes up.

Just curious if I'm looking in the wrong places or if our being on the Welcome Package excludes us from much of the content.

Thanks --

You're not going to get very much free content to stream if you don't subscribe to many channels. Try getting some movie packages at a discounted rate, then you'll have access to their content through streaming.
