Well, clones are supposed to look alike no? :) It's so different ...
I went on pansatusa.com today to download the latest soft. for my 3500S and just besides the 2500A there's a special warning to make sure the unit is Pansat original or it may damage the receiver.

If Pansat never made any other models of the 2500A, yes it's a clone or something completly different wich I am not interested in.

That is no way near a 2500. I have a 2100 and a 1500 and those 2 (along with the 2500) are IDENTICAL in looks (well the 2100 is grey and the 1500 is white)

The differences between a 1500 and a 2500 are the 1500
-lacks UHF remote option
-lacks AC-3 output
-lacks S-Video plug

That is not a 2500

here is a picture of my 1500, 2100 and Fortec Ultra

top is the Ultra
middle is the 1500
bottom is the 2100

The 1500, 2100, 2300, 2500 all look the same

Can't be more clear! thanks Berg (again)

I canceled my bid on ebay (hey I wasn't to loose 1.50$ on that!!!) :)
I found on Google-images that it was a Pantec or something "universal"... I don't know, I don't care.
