Sons of Anarchy News

Question: Anything at all on the final season of Sons of Anarchy?
Ausiello: Tara’s spirit will loom large throughout the final 13 episodes, but Maggie Siff won’t be embodying that spirit. Asked if the actress might appear in a recreated flashback or as a vision to her widowed hubby, series creator Kurt Sutter tells me, “I’ve never done flashbacks or dream sequences on this show. They tend to pull me out of the reality of a show like this. Although The Sopranos used them very effectively with Tony, it doesn’t make sense for Jax to experience that.” Ironically, Sutter reveals that Tara’s presence will be most felt via Gemma (AKA the woman that repeatedly drove a meat fork into her head). “Gemma has this odd, remorse-[driven] dialogue with Tara throughout the season,” he previews, “as if she’s sitting right there next to her.” Bonus Scoop: There’s a Juice-centric scene in the Sept. 9 opener that will make the show’s straight female and gay male fans very, very, very happy.

Any information on how Unser will be dealing with Tara's death on Sons of Anarchy since his misinformation is what got her killed?
Although Wayne isn't exactly privy to how his words led to Tara's doom, he's mourning the loss. So much so, in fact, that he even finds a way to help the new sheriff with the murder investigation. Although it's great to see Unser flexing some of his old lawman muscle, there's at least a couple people who certainly don't want Unser digging around. In other words, he better watch his back.

Any Juice-related Sons of Anarchy scoop? I’m worried about him.
Ausiello: You should be. As if covering up his part in last season’s double homicide wasn’t enough for the embattled SAMCRO-ian to contend with, series creator Kurt Sutter tells me that Juice will “have a revelation about himself” in Episode 6. “It’s somewhat sad, but it explains his journey and why he is doing what he is doing,” the EP adds. “He’s sort of on this path that begins with him having some glimmer of hope, and then when that doesn’t come to fruition, he’s just completely untethered and lost.” BONUS SCOOP: Juice isn’t gay. Just in case you were wondering. (I certainly was.)

TV Review: ‘Sons of Anarchy,’ The Final Season https://tv.yahoo.com/news/tv-review-sons-anarchy-final-season-144503508.html Given its initial premise and appalling body count, the fact “Sons of Anarchy” has credibly reached a seventh and final season is in itself an accomplishment. Yet this fall’s driving theme — unrelenting revenge and retribution — practically ensures a series already characterized by over-the-top violence will be even more steeped in creatively conceived gore. Few programs seem more closely linked to the id of their brain trust than this one, and showrunner Kurt Sutter has set the stage for an operatic finish. That said, watching “Sons” ride toward the sunset — taking its excesses with it — evokes as much relief as regret.Without giving too much away (and SPOILER ALERT only to those not fully up to date on last season’s events), the SAMCRO motorcycle club, under the stewardship of Jax (Charlie Hunnam), is grappling with some beyond-usual family issues. Sure, Jax killed his stepfather, assumed control and tried to take the club in a more legitimate direction, but that was before the brutal murder of his wife by his mother Gemma (Katey Sagal), which she is prudently hiding from him, the collateral damage be damned. While Gemma justifies this act of self-preservation by saying she’s “the only thread holding this family together,” the fallout of letting Jax wonder who took a fork to his wife’s head virtually completes his turn into the darkness, embracing vengeance while setting in motion a war among the various criminal factions with which the club interacts. (In “Sons’?” grim and anarchic world, law enforcement, with Annabeth Gish as the new sheriff, is really just another gang.)

'Sons of Anarchy': Is This the Guy Who's Going to Be Responsible for Jax's Downfall? https://tv.yahoo.com/blogs/tv-news/...responsible-for-jax-s-downfall-005427172.html
SPOILER ALERT: This recap for the "Toil and Till" episode of Sons of Anarchy contains storyline and character spoilers. As if Jax Teller needed one more enemy. But he got one, a serious and personal one, in Tuesday's Sons of Anarchy. This enemy could be a facilitator of what seems certain to be an unhappy ending for the SAMCRO leader in the show's final season.Jax's newest adversary: Jury White (Michael Shamus Wiles), the president of the Indian Hills chapter of SAMCRO and the man who is forever indebted to the Tellers since John Sr., Jax's dad, saved his life in Vietnam.Jax approached Jury to share his plan to seek further vengeance against Henry Lin, the man that Jax thinks ordered the murder of his wife, Tara. Jax viciously murdered Lin's guy Chris Dun — the guy that Gemma fingered as the killer — in the season premiere, but as he explained in a frighteningly calm voice to Jury, that won't suffice."I'm going to wait 'til Lin's vulnerable, out of allies. Then I'm going to reach out and offer him a helping hand. Once I'm inside, got his total trust, I'm going to let him know I was the one who ruined him," Jax said."Then I'm going to look around his table, his men and his family, ask him who he wants spared. First person he points to, that's who I'm killing. And then everyone else he cares about. I'm gonna let him live, in the agony of that for a little while, and then I'm gonna end him. Slowly and painfully as possible."Jury offered the support of his club, sending two young guys along with Jax and the fellas as they went on a raid of a Henry Lin gun run. Jax asked Jury who the strangers were, but Jury merely vouched for them and said he knew them through one of his… one of the ladies he looks to for companionship, let's just say.Give yourself 10 bonus points if you caught what that meant, because Jax didn't. Which is why, after Jury's guys helped Jax and SAMCRO take out a slew of Lin's men and steal four bricks of drugs from them, Jax visited Jury's friends, shot them, and used the pilfered drugs and the guns from the Lin hit to make it look as if the two hapless lads were the ones who hit Lin's gun deal.Jury arrived shortly thereafter to find the guys in pools of their own blood… and his blood. One of the guys, Gib, was Jury's son, and as Jury looked around the room, he spotted one of the guns, one of the ones he had helped SAMCRO pack up after the Lin raid, and quickly put together that it was the son of his friend John Teller who was responsible for the death of his son.How long will it take Jury to confront Jax (who, again, doesn't know that one of his victims was Jury's son)? We might look to something August Marks said to Jax, while consoling him, sorta, but also warning him not to be hasty in doling out revenge against Tara's killer.
"The greatest lesson Mr. Pope taught me was patience… in business or the street, don't matter," Marks said. "If your emotions say 'now,' your head's gotta say 'later.' Clarity settles all scores, pays back all debts."That may suggest how Jury will deal with Jax, and it may explain why Marks hasn't moved against Jax or Tig — yet — for the old scores he has to settle with them.
Katey Sagal as Gemma Teller
Other SAMCRO drama in the second episode of Season 7:
* Out of the mouths of babes: Gemma continues to feel guilty about killing Tara, especially when her sweet-faced little grandson, Abel, asks her, "Were you there when Mommy went to Heaven?"
* Did Gib look familiar? The actor playing him (Australian Tanc Sade) also memorably portrayed Logan Huntzberger's playboy pal Finn on Gilmore Girls and stars in the El Rey drama Matador.
* Thank goodness for Kim Coates's Tig, who delivered several much-needed moments of levity in the tense episode (as Tig is wont to do). Tig worried that they were soon going to run out of burial space while dropping the victims of the Lin raid into the ground. "I know a thousand places to bury bodies," Happy — the guy with a smiley-face tattoo for every person he's murdered — helpfully assured him. "Of course you do," Tig muttered. Sons of Anarchy airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
9 Questions That Should Be Answered in the Final Season of 'Sons of Anarchy'
Warning: Major Sons of Anarchyseries spoilers ahead.
Here it comes, the seventh and final season of Sons of Anarchy, the season fans have both anticipated and dreaded, for it means the end of the series and, almost certainly, the end of at least some of our favorite biker bad boys (and mamas).Season 7 throws viewers right back into the drama, picking up just 10 days after the murder of Jax's wife, Tara. Emmy winner Paris Barclay, also an executive producer on the series, directs his fourth consecutive SoA season premiere, which is bookended by a pair of incredibly violent, bloody acts that set the tone for the rest of the season (and, as a series' trademark, are accompanied by perfect, haunting music).
Below, nine big questions that should be answered before the men and women of SAMCRO ride off into the TV land sunset (well, the ones that are still alive at the end of the series finale, anyway):
Charlie Hunnam as Jax Teller
1. Will Jax find out who killed Tara?
Gemma (Katey Sagal) and Juice (Theo Rossi) are the only ones who know Gemma killed Tara (Maggie Siff). Will Jax (Charlie Hunnam), or anyone else, ever learn the truth about Tara's murder? This is the final season of SoA, and series creator Kurt Sutter hasn't been meticulously crafting this tragedy of Shakespearean proportions to end things on a happy note, so, yeah, it's a safe bet that "Hamlet on motorcycles," as the show has often been called, will end with Jax fully aware of everything his mother has done for and to him. When he finds out is the big question, along with how many others will become collateral damage before Jax learns the truth.
2. How true to Hamlet will the show ultimately prove to be (or not to be)?
Make your best guesses in the comments below, but Clay (Ron Perlman) is already dead. And it's not looking good for Gemma, who has a major case of the guilts about Tara's murder and thus begins acting squirrelly in the season premiere, or Jax, who makes it clear he has little left to lose now that Tara is gone. There's a great shot at the end of Season 1, Episode 1, of Jax and Gemma standing close together, with Clay in the background watching them. It epitomizes the Hamlet theme that feels especially prevalent as we barrel toward the end of SoA. Last season, Claudius (Clay) got his comeuppance for killing the Ghost of Hamlet's Father (John Teller), and it's tough to see how both Hamlet (Jax) and Gertude (Gemma) will make it out of the SoA series finale alive.
3. Is Jax still committed to making SAMCRO's businesses legit?
This question is definitively answered in the season premiere, and the answer sets the tone for everything that's to come in the bloody final season.
4. What will happen to Abel and Thomas, Jax's sons?
Supposing Jax and Gemma aren't around to take care of Jax's sons, who will? Unser (Dayton Callie), who continues to try to be the voice of reason in Season 7? Nero (Jimmy Smits), who has issues with but cares about both Jax and Gemma? Wendy? Yes, Drea de Matteo is back as Jax's ex-wife for Season 7, and her motives seem good when she offers to help Gemma take care of Abel and Thomas. But there's also every chance Wendy's addiction to drugs and SAMCRO drama will lead her into serious trouble yet again. One of Gemma's biggest fears is outsider interference with her family, so after years of her machinations, it would be the ultimate tragedy for the boys to end up in the care of strangers.
5. Has August Marks forgiven Tig for killing Damon Pope and Pope's daughter?
It's unclear. Marks (Billy Brown) passed on his chance to exact revenge against Tig last season when Jax sent Tig to the porn warehouse, setting his SAMCRO brother up to be killed by Marks's men. Plus, though Marks had his doubts, Jax framed Clay as Pope's murderer. Marks might not let his emotions get in the way of business, but he also doesn't seem like a guy who lets things go easily, especially the murder of his longtime friend and mentor. And with Jax distraught over Tara and consumed by revenge, Marks could see an opening to get his revenge against a vulnerable SAMCRO.Also, though Jax's biggest problem within SAMCRO is Juice, who's on the club's hit list because he betrayed SAMCRO when he guiltily told Nero that Jax ordered him to kill Darvany last season, has Jax ever forgiven Tig for killing Opie's wife, Donna, in the first season?
Kim Coates's performance as Tig has been one of the most entertaining of the series, but Tig has made a lot of enemies along the way, and it won't be a big surprise if he doesn't make it out of the finale alive. Here's hoping that no matter how it ends for him, he gets to enjoy a nice evening with his crush, Venus Van Dam, when Walton Goggins brings the lovely Venus back to town later in Season 7.
Jimmy Smits as Nero
6. Has Nero forgotten or forgiven Jax for having Juice kill Darvany?
Almost certainly not. Minor spoiler for Season 7: Nero makes nice with Jax, partly because he's sympathetic about Tara's murder, partly because he's in love with Gemma, and partly because he's trying to broker some peace between the many gangs whose competing interests are about to erupt in an all-out war. Nero gave his loyalty to Jax and Gemma — and they have betrayed him. But if either one crosses him a second time, he or she might meet a less mild-mannered version of Nero_Our bigger fear for Nero's association with the Tellers in Season 7: He could become part of that collateral damage we mentioned earlier.
7. Does SAMCRO survive?
Jax's attempts to make the club legit haven't worked out so well. But could his commitment to vengeance against those he thinks are responsible for Tara's death really doom the club? One more minor Season 7 spoiler: When Jax reveals his plans for SAMCRO's future to the club members, they back him up 100 percent. Will that be a decision they live, or not, to regret?
8. How will the guest stars factor into the storyline?
Courtney Love (as a kindergarten teacher!) and Glee star Lea Michele (as a waitress who crosses paths with Gemma) are on deck for guest gigs later in the season, as are return appearances by Goggins and the wonderful CCH Pounder as DA Tyne Patterson, one of the most unlikely characters ever to have bonded with Jax. And in the season premiere we're introduced to two guest stars whose characters will pop up in multiple episodes throughout the season: The Cosby Show alum Malcolm-Jamal Warner as Sticky, a member of T.O.'s Grim Bastards MC, and a nearly unrecognizable Marilyn Manson as Ron Tully, the head of a white supremacist gang who will do some business with SAMCRO.The Bridge star Annabeth Gish will also do double FX duty, joining SoA as the charming Sheriff Althea Jarry (whose name might be inspired by the Grateful Dead song "Althea," co-written by Jerry Garcia, we're guessing).
9. Has FX planned any special events to send off its most popular series of all time?
Lots. Several episodes' running times will exceed an hour, beginning with the season premiere, which clocks in at one hour and 45 minutes. The season opener will also be followed by a live episode of Anarchy Afterward, the SoA aftershow hosted by comedian Chris Franjola and featuring guests Kurt Sutter, Charlie Hunnam, and Katey Sagal. The Sept. 30, Oct. 21, and Dec. 2 eps of SoA will be followed by online installments of Anarchy Afterward. Another live episode of the aftershow will follow the series finale on FX on Dec. 9.More post-SoA goodies to celebrate the end of the series: a Sons of Anarchy Blu-ray DVD collection, out on Nov. 11, is packaged in a cool case that re-creates the elaborate table carving from SAMCRO's chapel. The set includes Seasons 1-6, with a spot left to slide in the Season 7 boxed set when it's released in 2015. And the day after the series finale, Sons of Anarchy: The Official Collector's Edition goes on sale. The only official companion book for the show includes an intro by Sutter, and 208 pages of color photos, exclusive cast and crew commentary, background on the production, music, props, costumes, makeup, tattoos, and bikes from the show, chapters on each season, and a glossary of biker lingo. The best — potentially — news of all: Sutter recently confirmed to The Los Angeles Times that he's still considering a Sons of Anarchy prequel series. "It would be a completely different tonal piece," he said. "That is a real possibility."
Sons of Anarchy Season 7 premieres Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. on FX.

‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Spoilers: Season 7, Episode 3 Show Brings ‘Playing With Monsters’ http://www.inquisitr.com/1483474/so...gs-playing-with-monsters/#JbmxLFaWEcJiB2Ld.99
What can fans expect from the Season 7, Episode 3 show of Sons of Anarchy? Spoilers indicate that Jax Teller will continue to go after the Chinese using whatever means possible. Is he moving too fast and making mistakes along the way though? That’s what some suspect, but it may take a while to see it all play out. The September 23 episode is titled “Playing With Monsters” and SOA fans are anxious for details. As is the norm, Kurt Sutter isn’t spilling too much in the way of specifics ahead of this episode. Spoiler TV has posted a few Sons of Anarchy spoiler photos from the episode, and it is clear that Dep. Sheriff Althea Jarry starts to make an impact. Jarry and Jax will have a conversation, but fans will have to tune in to see just how it goes. Jarry has an agenda, but what is she truly trying to achieve? Nobody knows the answer to that one quite yet.The synopsis for “Playing With Monsters” indicates that SAMCRO will exploit an opportunity in order to secure an important alliance. From the looks of the photos available, SAMCRO and the Niners will have some serious and productive talks. Both August Marks and Mo McRae will be seen in key moments of this episode, it appears.
The preview and cast credits at IMDb reveal Sons of Anarchy spoilers that this will be Courtney Love’s first episode this season as well. She will play Ms. Harrison, a preschool teacher of Abel’s. Some of the Diosa girls will be seen in this episode, as will Henry Lin and Jury White. As fans saw at the end of episode 2, White’s “hired muscle” that Jax slaughtered had a personal connection to the long-time ally and this likely will spell trouble for Jax and SAMCRO. However, it may take a while for that to play out.The Sons of Anarchy spoiler preview also showed a moment of Juice and Chibs talking. As far as SAMCRO knows, Juice is hiding because he betrayed the club when it came to telling Nero the truth about Darvany’s death. Obviously, though, there’s way more to it than that. How long can Juice handle all of the pressure? It seems he reaches out to Chibs, as the two have always had a unique bond, but Chibs sticks with the club over Juice. He seems to tell Juice that he may as well finally go ahead and kill himself.
Whatever Juice’s fate is, he’ll be around for a bit. Previous Sons of Anarchy spoilers have indicated that Ortiz will live at least until the middle of season 7. After that, all bets are off. Unser is now working on the case regarding Tara’s death, and Gemma knows this. He is developing a theory about what happened and he’s seen mentioning it to Jarry. How close will he come to figuring it out, and what fate awaits him if Gemma discovers he’s finding answers? As for Jax discovering the truth about Gemma killing Tara, TV Guide teases Sons of Anarchy spoilers that it won’t be coming soon. Kurt Sutter indicates that the tension of Gemma struggling with the guilt, remorse and lies will play out for a bit. Sutter even teases when and if Jax finds out, his reaction may well be deep and swift. Fans can’t imagine Jax not learning the truth, but it may well take until late in the season for it to happen.Where will things stand with SAMCRO, Juice and Unser at the end of the Season 7, Episode 3 show of Sons of Anarchy? Fans will find out when “Playing With Monsters” airs on Tuesday, September 23 on FX.
