"The Simpsons" marathon on FXX starting tomorrow, Aug. 21!!! Are you gonna watch?

Okay, I posted a similar thread in the Cable and Satellite Networks thread but got no replies, so I'm hoping for better luck here. Anyways, anyone going to watch it? Any Simpsons fans out here? They are playing all the past 552 episodes, in order, plus The Simpsons Movie, for 12 days, non-stop, straight! So cool for all us Simpsons lovers!

I might tune in. NPR had an excellent program yesterday about the upcoming marathon interviewing the voices & producers behind the Simpsons. Wasn't interested until I heard that program called Fresh Air.

Watching one of the episodes right now from 1990. I see FXX decided to zoom-in/crop-out the picture so that it fits the 16:9 widescreen ratio.

If I had an extra dvr I would have, but I'm content with recording my ~50 episodes.

That's my favorite episode. I hated the fact that they temporarily pulled the episode from syndication after 9/11.

Hopefully someday FXX will get it right and stop airing them this way. Maybe someone should start an online petition?
