tiger woods in car crash

Nicklaus: Woods' issues his own...

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Jack Nicklaus said the fallout over Tiger Woods' car crash and allegations of extramarital affairs is "none of my business."

"Our public is pretty forgiving at times," Nicklaus said Thursday. "Time usually heals all wounds. I think the hardest thing is obviously his family. That's a private matter for him and his family."

Nice to hear the voice of reason....

The Dublin, Ohio native couldn't have said it any better. Thank you Jack. :up

You did not address my point, you made up your own points, which is a different discussion.

Sandra

The point from the start was how the media is bring out Tiger's PERSONAL infidelity issues to the public. THAT is the point.

BUT, we can go there. When ALL the steroids issues came to light with all that you mentioned....MOST of the non-sports world...shrugged the shoulders and pretty much left it to the sports media. Yeah there was some mainstream media covering it hard....for all of about a week.

With Tiger, it is the beginning of ALL news....local, national, entertainment AND sports. It is being covered the same IN EUROPE! I will go one step further and just keep it in sports....did the European SPORTS media give a rats ass about steroids in baseball? Hell no...that's an American sport. There....your point has been addressed and your angle shot down....

This story, in a WORLD WIDE basis, has become bigger than steroids ever was in baseball.

The bigger the subject, the bigger the story. It's as simple as that.

In the sports world, worldwide, Tiger is probably the biggest name out there. If Darell Strawberry admitted to having wild affairs, it wouldn't be nearly as big of news.

I'm not going to debate the semantics, or the ancillary parts of this discussion. It's very simple.

Saying Tiger is going through this because of his race is an injustice to people who are actually discriminated against because of their race. Every day.

You can actually make the argument that this goes beyond the sports world, that Tiger Woods is one of the biggest names out there period. Equivalent to the President, Michael Jordan, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson when he was alive, the Pope, Muhammad Ali, and very few others.

this is now being reported at orlandosentinel.com......elin tells tiger to quit golf, if he wants to save their marriage.

Obviously she's only saying that because he's brown-skinned and she's white and blonde. That's the most important thing.

LOL!! The article SUGGESTS that it could be race why all the media fuss. Now, seeing that you are NEITHER black, latino where there IS a difference is pigmintaion....you wouldn't know anything about being discriminated because of you color or race....UNLESS you HAVE felt discrimination against you do to your skin color or nationality.....you really don't know the feeling.

NOW, could this be because he black....maybe, maybe not. But you can NEVER, EVER count it out...that that is what Whitlock is say and where I am coming from.

Still not taking your bait. Sorry.

I stand by what I said. Saying Tiger Woods is a victim of racism here is an injustice to those who actually suffer from racism.

Period.

Not baiting you into anything..stand by whatever you want...because you have more likely never been a victim of it, you have no clue whether it is or isn't.

And I stand by THAT statement.

Tiger has no idea of racism. His father did, but his son is clueless.
