All Star break is over, and I'm looking forward to a Tigers pennant run. Unfortunately, if we make it to the series we will have home field advantage, and you know how that worked out for the Red Wings and the Pistons.

I was 10 and I remember Gibson, Whitaker, Trammel, Morris and the rest. The Tigers are my second favorite team all because of Sparky.
I remember the '84 team like it was yesterday, I was and am a Big Trammell fan, It was sad to see him take the fall for the Tigers the last several years, I like Leyland just as well, but , Tram did not have the Healthy players Jim, does and the pitching staff is a year more mature and rounding into shape now.sidekick said:

What you need to watch is how both team play in the 7-8-9th innings.
Both teams have a tendacy to score big runs in the late innings.
This series will come down to the bullpens......
Hopefully Roller coaster Jones will have a good streach of outings.
ChiSox pen has not been all that good as of late either.

Hopefully Tigers take 2 out of three, perferably the first 2, then anything can happen in the third game.
