Voom and A/B Switch for antenna

Yep, they work as advertised.

If you're not lazy (unlike me), you can try a high isolation A/B switch like the one found at Radio Shack: http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog_name=CTLG&product_id=15-1216

If you're lazy (like me), you can try a remote controlled A/B switch like the following Radio Shack model: http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?cookie_test=1&catalog_name=CTLG&product_id=15-1968

Avoid the they "cheapy" A/B switches, which are also offered at Radio Shack and elsewhere.

So let me make sure you are doing this:

You have a Voom box which is being fed by by a rat shack A/B switch?
Are you running 6.2 of the Voom software?

I have 1 antenna pointed toward Dayton Ohio to the north and 1 antenna pointed to the south toward Cinci., Ohio. I had to run 2 scans of the locals to pick them up initially and get them listed in the guide.

Now, I can only actually pull up the Cinci. ones when I select them in the program guide..even when I change the A/B switch to Dayton. I also tried taking the A/B switch out of the loop and putting the Dayton feed directly to the back of the receiver..Still cannot pull up Dayton. When I have the Dayton lead directly into the reciever and try to run the scan, it does not find any of the Dayton stations.

Do I have to reboot the reciever? Hate to think I would have to do that everytime!
