XGAMES Out of Sync

I am watching the XGAMES on Channel 100 in Multicam.

Camera 1 - 4 are ahead of the main ESPN feed by about 3 seconds. Even the audio is ahead. Kind of strange yet neat at the same time.

I wonder if maybe ESPN has a 3 second delay in there, just enough time for a censor to press the "bleep" button in case somebody swears on camera.

I would guess the 4 cameras could be coming directly from the X-Games site to DISH. But ESPN is going from the X-Games site to Bristol CT for commercial integration and then to the Satellite for distrabution to Dish. Each satellite hop adds delay.
I work at a a TV station and can see our signal in 4 different times, Original, dlaye because of digital processing and digital character generator, the SD upconverted signal on our HD transmitter and the return path from DISH Locals.
Any A/D or D/A conversion as does SD to HD and satellte uplink. The satelite signal is delayed more because the satellite is 23,000 miles in space.
