My theory?? Big Ten Network SD.

Charlie says, "Mr. BigTenNetwork president, sir, we have your channel in our system waiting to be released. When do you want to agree on my price and sign the paperwork to release the channel to millions of homes?"

I think more likely it's displaying an animated loop with Charlie and Jim showing "Mr. BigTenNetwork president" what he can do with his channel. :dev

Have a feeling its the Big 10 Network...Charlie pissed off a lot of fans already and figure "well lets get it before cable does"

what do you mean exclusive?

DirecTV has it
a few smaller cable companies have it (these are ones that are competitors to a big conglomerate like Comcast/Time Warner/Charter, etc)

Something tells me its anything BUT the BTN. I have doubts it will ever come to be on E*. Wish I had known that when I signed that 18 month committment 2 months ago.

With the latest press release from E*, I DOUBT it is the BTN.

Dear DISH Network Retailer,
We want to make sure to get the word out about the major Big Ten football games available to qualifying subscribers on DISH Network channels this college football season. The action starts today with the University of Alabama - Birmingham vs. Michigan State game on ESPN2 and ESPN2HD.
Big Ten Football is bigger than ever: ect ect...

All Charlie is doing by telling his retailers is:
"I screwed up, but here is how YOU can smooth it over for me... blah blah blah".

What E* says to dealers and how they negotiate with vendors are two different things. I can remember lots of cases where there was all kinds of venom spewed that were followed by an agreement with this network or that.

I would be surprised if it were BTN only because I thought BTN would be with all the other college networks in the 140s and 150s.

But if it i BTN, I won't complain. Except that we need BTN HD real soon.

It is also on Satellite 110, does that serve the Big Ten Footprint?
My RSN's are on 129 here in NW Iowa and are on channels 368-386-374 (3 RSN's here in my area)

110 is one of the main satellites but I have a feeling it wont be in the AT200 or whatever the heck its called (middle package)....knowing Charlie he'll either
A. Put it in top 250
B. Put it in the multi sport pack (after all it is in that range)
