As I stated yesterday... I have trouble believing that you are really in the "real know"! My guess is Scott's connections are a wee bit better than yours.

Scott started this site and has has history behind him and that is why we believe him.
You have like 20something posts and continue to brag about knowing all and having all these connections but so far in the last two days have been completely wrong!
It's the difference of buying lemonade in the grocery store where you might pay a bit more but know what you are getting and buying lemonade on a street corner. It might only cost a nickle, but it's usually only worth a nickle at the most anyway.

I just tuned to the NHLHD channel for my Avs and all I got was this message:

I cant not understand what you are mad abouut because I thought we were best fiends and I was going to PM you like I just did RAransay with some inside infomation about the NHL network and SURPRISE some info on NESN COMING IN HD. Theyve been working really ahrd on getting that channel out in HD and its rolling out of the closet in middle November.
RAransay I went ahead and sent you a reponse to your PMs that you sent and want to thank you pubicly for coming to me in a time of need. Youll be happy when the NHL network rools out sometime between now and next Friday night at 8PM. THye are still telling me it'll be before Monday at 8PM though so well keep out fingers crossed.
Im very knowlegeble about the satelite industry and RAransay will tell you so so ask me if you have any questions and give me a whirl.
Then go start your own sat website.
The people who negotiate for Dish don't tell the employees of the company what is coming down the pike, so why would they tell you and take the chance of getting fired?

Can somebody tell me, what the hell is the point of having all of these out of market RSN's when all they do is show content that is blacked out? I thought they were going to be used for HD content for the Sports packages. I have NHL CI and when I looked at FSN Pittsburgh the other day, the Ducks and Pens :tux:game was not blacked out, now I look today and it is. It is not due to me living in the area, as I live in FL. So what is the purpose of having these channels?

I guess it's off-topic (but isn't most of this thread), but I really thought it was cool how the CBC news continued on after the Maple Leafs game and went up until the Flames-Flyers beginning. I know that probably sounds somewhat stupid, but I would have figured that would have been blacked out. Of course, I never did look at the program guide until after the Maple Leafs -- so I guess having two games on one channel probably had a lot to do with all of that.
Anyways, thanks for all of the help you guys really do give and for answering my sometimes "off the wall" questions or comments. I really am loving the Center Ice Package. Now if we can just get the NHL Network uplinked! I'm checking back about every hour or so thinking I might see an update from Scott!!

I'll add just a bit more than that -- I like watching news programs from other locations. I can remember when DISH actually offered Extra Innings (a package I would always have) and I can remember once the games were over, the channel was off (sort of like after the Maple Leafs last night). Can you guys tell I'm tired!?!?!
