No, Dish gave up their right to get access to the EI package till 2011 I believe. They didn't want to pony up the price of carriage for MLB Network and so they didn't sign.

Very good news! Will be nice to watch the Sox in HD tonight. Glad to see Dish made the right move. I don't care if it disappears after the playoffs.

i saw the audio sync and it's not as bad as when History went HD
I assume it's a temp burp in the launch

Amazing thanks for the info.
I would have never found it but from this post. It does not default to the 139 number like the other HD nets had to manually go to the 542 to see it.
What a great change.
Play Ball!

I'm happy for all the baseball fans........and a little sad for the HD fans. After the baseball playoffs are over everyone will focus on the next "Must have" HD channel, but Dish has now committed very valuable bandwidth to a channel that will offer almost no original HD programming and will use the same "Stretch-o-rama" as the equally regretable TNT-HD.

RELAX! They took one of the HD PPV channels. We are getting free Sports PPV. Hard to say what will happen after the playoffs are over.

Thank you Dish!

Watching the games in HD is great. I wish it could have been there for the past two nights with the Cubs games, or maybe it was better to watch the mess they made of those games in SD.

I'm currently watching flying ants attack the players in Cleveland in HD! It's awesome!

are those flying ants, great I hope they are having a nice meal on the yanks! Gotta love HD, Thanks DISH I do know I made the right choice. GO SOX!!!!!

I love to see a plaugue of flying ants descend on the Yankees... in HD! But so are they gonna take TBS-HD away from us after baseball? My guide says "No Info Avail" starting at 12:30 tonight. Does everyone else have this, or do I need a reboot?

EDIT: I guess I do need a reboot. If Scott says we are keeping TBS-HD, then we are keeping it. Thanks Scott! http://www.satelliteguys.us/1063277-post114.html

When I first saw the new channel and checked out the channel guide it had no information past the two games tonight. It will be interesting to see if anything is still on-air after they are over or if its a full time channel.

I have a feeling that TBS-HD is only a temporary channel for E*. I think that once the playoffs are over, the channel will be gone. Now if the channel begins to appear in the 9000's, I'll start to think differently.

Check main page TBS thread. Scott made announcement. Will be moving to another channel on 10/10.

TBS is Crap

Excluding the playoff games in HD, other programming on TBS is utter crap. I have yet to see anything else broadcast in HD. The picture is stretched and distorted and the pop ups suck too. I truly hope that E* sends a message to Time Warner and drops the channel after the playoffs. This is, in my opinion, is one of the biggest scams that programmers are pulling on the American viewing public. Either it's in HD or it's not, and, if it's not, it shouldn't be noted as HD in any guides.
