Haven't seen this mentioned in any other posts, but I was watching BBC America Saturday night and they had an advertising announcement stating coming 2008 BBC America HD.

I certainly hope E* carries this one.

Yeah, I tried to watch an episode of The Office on BBC. I couldn't understand a word they were saying.

That's why they have been running ads before the show suggesting people turn on their closed captioning.

Top Gear is on Monday Nights. (tonight) Best show ever. This week is the famous Rocket Car crash (one of the show's co-hosts gets brain damaged, but later recovers).

I have the same problem with the Kung Fu and FilmFest channels. Those Kurosawa movies can be mighty annoying. Especially without the subtitles.

That's how I feel when I watch Nascar .

Seriously, has anyone watched "Mad Max" w/ the hideous 'American' dubbed dialogue (because folks in the states in 1981 couldn't understand 'Australian')? Yikes.

And I agree w/ 'abricko,' the possibility of seeing "The IT Crowd" in HD is awesome (love that show...glory be to the internets).
