Ohio State does not want to play LSU in the BCS Championship...

Don't know if anybody posted this yet, but just think what is really up for grabs during this NC game. OSU and LSU have already won a BCS Championship. Whoever wins this game will be the first two time BCS champion.

I just wish I had more support, I seem to be the only one here that (once again) give the Buckeyes a chance.

Jimbo

OK Jimbo, time to give you a little support here.

OSU has the best thing going for them this year, nobody in the media is giving them a chance. They are hearing over and over how they don't stand a chance against LSU. They are even a underdog in Vegas and they are the #1 team right now. What better motivation than to prove everybody wrong. This is just what happened during their NC run against Miami and it did them wonders back then. What many SEC fans are failing to see is that this years OSU team is a much better team than last year. My only fear on this game is the layoff that OSU is having to take. I wish the Big 10 would pull their head out of their @$% and either schedule a bye or start a week later.

GO BUCKS

I brought this up before. This is what added to Florida's big win last year. You'd have to have no knowledge of college football to not see this as a huge factor in the game.

LSU better be ready to play - they will. :up

Geaux Tigers!

Well, I wouldn't exactly call it support...but I think Ohio State will pull out a victory for the Big Ten this year. History is not on the Buckeyes side, but I think OSU's players possessing an average 5th grade reading level will prevail over the LSUs players having only a 3rd grade reading level.

OSU Sucks, but LSU Sucks harder...:up

Perhaps we should update this thread to "Battle of the BCS Dummies".:D

Fast Facts
:

The typical OSU player will be working at a smelly tire factory or supervising french fry operations at a local fast food joint.

The typical LSU player will be helping to construct even more cities below sea level or selling boiled peanuts in Georgia.

Could be worse - they could become lowly defense contractors. ;)

WHAT do you have against football players dude??!! I have NEVER seen anyone here post as much NEGATIVITY against pro athletes as much as you do.....

Really....what gives?

Don't worry Jimbo. I'm here with you! I love that OSU is the underdog!

I just don't have the knowledge that you guys have to argue who is better and why!

Short memory there Jimbo. I had your back last year, and being a Big Ten Country type of guy, I'm pulling for your Evil Buckeyes this year also. I told you weeks ago that your Buckeyes would be playing in the BCS championship.

Yeah, that worked for Missouri last week - NOT!

This may sound silly to you SEC types out there. I think tOSU has a better chance against LSU than if they were playing a team like Oregon(if Oregon's QB is healthy). Illinois beat them with their wide open offense and tOSU would really have trouble stopping Oregon or a similar team. LSU's offense is more traditional and that's what tOSU's defense is geared to stop. Call me crazy, but tOSU matches up better with LSU than they did with Florida last year.

One more thing. When did it become the Ohio State University?

The Ohio State University started being said by several Buckeyes when playing on Monday nights and it just carried on from there, it's been happening for about 5-10 years now.
I notice that the University of Miami calls themselves "The U" I don't know where that started , but it took awhile to figure out who they are talking about.
Also the Denver Offensive Line will not introduce themselves.

It's from their sports logo.

Way back when during the 1st Reagan Administration it was OSU. They started calling themselves THE OhioState University circa 1984-85. How do I know? When I started there the student union bookstore sold OSU products. Just about Reagan's re-election I started tOSU stuff everywhere at the store.

But that was just my first University.

Go Bucks!

And I may have a spare tire but I'm sure as Hell not working at a factory nor am I cooking fries. Where's your team now?
