can you come to my house and fix my setup, my shii is just hanging on with zip ties. i got get my lazy ass down there and clean it up.

after working long week i hate working on my own system.

There are a total of 7 Televisions and 8 receivers in my house, all Dual Tuners. In some rooms like mine for example, I have a 622 and a 942 receiver.

As far as all the cables, there are (4) Coax Cables to each wall plate and there is 1 wall plate on each wall in each room.

Great job. I like to be a critic, so a couple reccomendations I would give:

(1) Dump the DVD/VCR combo. Get a dedicated DVD player and VCR or use a VCR/DVD combo JUST as a VCR. The audio/video processing in those combo units is terrible.

(2) Cables coming out of that 2nd DPP44 need some zip ties. Same with Port 1 on the first one. They also need some cable clamps and are in need of shortening or loops.

(3) Mount the surge protector to the wall.

(4) Get a wireless phone jack.

Of course, after a few more hours to finish it, you'll probably neaten those wires up anyway. Don't take what I say too seriously though...I'm a bit of a Nazi when it comes to cable mangement.

Nice job!

I'd hate to imagine a Dish bill with that many tuners though...

:D

OMG! How many computers do you have? That rack has like 100 ethernet ports!

How do you watch all 16 tuners at the same time? You said you only have 7 TV's but if you have 8 receivers, all dual tuners that should be enough for 16 TV's right? So if you only have 7 TV's why don't you just have 4 receivers, (plus one tuner left over!)

Also, how does DISH let you get away with all those receivers. I thought they had a limit of 2 receivers or a maximum of 4 tuners total.

Very nice, clean install though!

Wish I could say my wiring looks that good!

Great Job!
