I stand corrected.

I missed the first 10 minutes of the game, and someone told me that's why they were up 10-0 at the time.

Yeah, OSU was pumped that first quarter. We LSU fans were worried. It took a dropped pass in the end zone by OSU, which set up the blocked field goal by Highsmith (I think) to turn the game around and kill OSU's momentum. A touchdown there would have set a little different tone for the game. So would that blocked punt OSU missed right at the beginning of the second half. Instead of a possible OSU TD, LSU got to continue the drive (for a TD) on a roughing the kicker call against OSU. After that, the game was pretty much done, although Flynn almost let them back in it with that interception deep in LSU territory late in the game.

To say OSU didn't have opportunities to tighten the score is just incorrect. LSU was clearly the better team, but they didn't just crush OSU like some on here keep blurting out. :)

Thank you for adding a voice of reason among the "bad guys". ;) One thing that many Buckeye fans have acknowledged this year is that the dialogue with LSU fans, both before and after the game, has been very civil, honest, and insightful. This is in stark contrast to the obnoxious UF fans we had to deal with last year, and the many "SEC fans" who are now living vicariously through the success of the Tigers. You'd think their own favorite teams had won the title.

I guess you didn't meet these fans. :haha

LMAO! :D I could handle it from the two dudes, but look at the way that woman is looking at him. That rubbing it in. Well, if it helps any, below is a part of the spoils these fans get with a championship.

LSU hikes ticket prices $5 per game

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- LSU's Board of Supervisors has approved a plan to raise the price of football tickets by $5 per game.
The athletic department announced the plans earlier this month. The board approved the plan at its Thursday meeting.

The price hikes would not affect student tickets, but all other non-conference game tickets would jump from $40 to $45. Tickets for Southeastern Conference games would go from $45 to $50, according to the press release.

Of course this price increase would be approved ... who do you think is voting on it ... not the fans...

How many seat in the stadium ?

And I bet they had newspapers there printed out that said OSU had won as well.
Yep, you know they did. I remember hearing that they ship all the shirts and hats of the losing team overseas to charity. I'm guessing there are some kids in Africa who think the Buffalo Bills are the best team in NFL history.

Lets see, will you change the tune once we beat the SEC ?
Or will we have to hear about this until we win enough to even the record ?

This gets REAL tiring, part of the reason this thread went all LSU after the game.

Whats the Bucks record against the rest of the country ?
Whats LSU's over all record ?

Yea and if they do finnaly win one, they will riot in the streets as if they just cured cancer...

They have to win one sometime. I mean the odds are with them for sure. Are there any other big10 teams that have never won a game againest the SEC?

In fairness, the 0-9 record is in bowl games. They are 3-11-1 all time vs. the SEC. Because I'm a stat dork, here is what the rest of the conference looks like vs. the SEC.

Illinois 1-5
Indiana 20-19
Iowa 3-3
Michigan 13-4-1
Michigan State 5-6-1
Minnesota 6-3
Northwestern 2-7-1
Ohio State 3-11-1
Penn State 17-18
Purdue 2-4
Wisconsin 3-8-1

And here is what the teams in the SEC looks like vs. the Big Ten.

Alabama 5-4
Arkansas 1-4-1
Auburn 5-3-1
Florida 9-5
Georgia 7-2
Kentucky 16-20
LSU 7-3-1
Ole Miss 0-3-1
Mississippi State 1-4
South Carolina 4-3
Tennessee 8-4
Vanderbilt 8-7-1

And I bet they had newspapers there printed out that said OSU had won as well.

I'm sure the Times Picayune was prepared to print a batch of those only for game attendees, the picture is from the game itself. I doubt they would've passed out any at all had OSU won.

The Dispatch would've probably done the same in Columbus, but then again, with the Bucknut fan's tendancy to burn things when he/she celebrates, maybe not. ;) :)
