I don't know if it's been asked before, I looked and didn't see anything.

But does anyone know which BD players currently on the market are BD Live compatable?

I'm thinking of making the jump to BD but don't want to wast my money again.

Thanks!

Someone school me in on the 1.1 - 2.0 profile. What's the difference??? I generally pop a movie in and press play, never watch the trailers or deleted sceens or any other thing on the disc.

Well I went and did something I swore I would never do. There is now a piece of electronic gear in my house with the Sony name. I am now the proud owner of an 80GB PS3.

I'll buy my first BD movie tomorrow, CC wanted 34.99 for the movie I wanted. Wal-Mart had it for 18.98.

I'm officially format neutral.

See, it didn't hurt that bad did it?;)

While waiting to go to Wall Mart connect that sucker to your internet connection, get the latest software installed and then go to the Sony Store and download some game demo's, movie trailers and BD coming attractions just to start to play with it.

:up Thanks! I went to Wally World first to buy the PS3 but they were all out. So went to CC they had 1 80GB. By the time I was going out the door it was 8:30 the weather was bad and I wasn't going back to Wal-Mart for a movie I wasn't going to watch tonight.

Tomorrow works.

I watched my first BD movie and I will say I saw no noticable difference in PQ between either formats.

I am glad I purchased the PS3, MotorStorm is awesome and I love the SixAxis controller. Plus I can watch BD's now. :)
